The wife and I visited the lovely little spot on our last night on the "Big Island". I've got to say, I regret not coming here sooner. The food is incredible, amazing, mouth watering, and one would even say orgasmic. The owner and staff are very friendly, hard working, patient. The environment that is provided is warm and comfortable. We love that the menu is fresh and changes daily. Whenever we make our way back over here, they will definitely get our business!
Had a great meal and experience here. Restaurant is run by a wife/husband Team and their staff, they know food and service. Had a “small” plate, a “large” plate, wine and desert. All - fantastic! Kudos to their kitchen. Excellent service too. Can’t wait to come back next time in Hilo!
I was a little disappointed after reading the great reviews. Don't get me wrong, the food was good and the service was efficient. But something was missing. The small plate and large plate we shared we're both good but they didn't have anything that put them over the top. There was some great sauce in our pasta dish but no bread to help sop it up (and nothing available).
They don't take walk ins except for the bar, so call ahead.
If you want dishes of flavor, do not hesitate to call and make a reservation. Our first time was amazing. Dishes are in the price range of $10-$25. Well worth it for a variety of flavors for your pallet.
Delicious restaurant in downtown Hilo. Had the fatty tuna belly, which seems to be a favorite (for good reason) and the salty fish fried rice. Large plates are definitely meant for sharing, and we're definitely a bit big for my party of two.
