I love this place! Their vegetarian burgers and juices are delicious. Ingredients are all fresh and local.
Super fresh vegan food. Local produce! A little expensive but worth it.
Sweet Cane Cafe has a lot of locally made wonders ranging from honey, macadamia nut butter, and lotions lined up at the cash register. Good for buying gifts that are not corporate and tacky.
This is not a made to order sugar cane juice but prepared in advance. The juice was watery and lacked the freshness.

Their menu has a bunch of vegetarian choices(5 different types of veggie patty to start). Smoothies and other drinks come in glasses to be enjoyed in-house and compostable cups for those on the run. This is a big plus for waste conscious people if they have some time to spare.
A cool find in Hawaii where my habits have usually been greasy and wrapped in plastic. Because I have been making an effort to produce less plastic waste, it has been difficult to eat out on this trip (I still do, but feel a bit guilty). I grew up here, so know enough about the average eatery and the pros and cons.
