I was desperately calling everywhere trying to find Maile leis for my Grandsons Graduation, but with all the graduations going on, no one could help. My last hope was Hilo Airport Flowers. "Penny" answered and although they were out of the Maile when I called, she didn't just brush me off like all the others, Instead she suggested I call her back at 8AM the next morning and she would see if her supplier would deliver her shipment early. She did say she couldn't promise but would try. I called her back as instructed and she had the Maile Leis I needed!!!! She shipped it the same day to arrive just in time for Graduation.
Hawaii will always be home and it's always been a tradition in our family to present leis at graduations and this was a special one. My Grandson Graduated Cum Lade from Texas A&M with his Engineering Degree and thanks to Penny, wore his Maile proudly. I've been getting my tropical mix flowers from here for over 40 years. Every time I used to go home to visit in Idaho I would take a big box of flowers with me. For very special occasions I would have them mail a 'tropical mix' box. Just had them mail one to my cousin in Wisconsin & they arrived in perfect condition! The staff is super friendly and helpful.
