What can I say? Mochi, flavored with seasonal local fruit and traditional ingredients. Doesn't get much better.
It's worth the drive over to Hilo to get some of their mochi! They have unique combinations filled with fresh fruit...so tasty! Cute little shop to take some treats with you.
Great mochi! If you want something special be willing to wait. They keep a few mixed boxes available for sale but everything else is made to order.

Yummy mochi!!! Everyone comes here for the strawberry mochi, which we, too, thought was delicious! My favorite was the purple potato. Don't bother with the fried purple potato one (not as good). We also enjoyed the traditional red bean. Peanut butter was different, but a bit sweet for my taste. Don't miss this spot when you're in Hilo!
