Staying in the Castle Hilo Hawaiian Hotel I was lucky enough to be close to a place where I found an extremely relaxing massage.
It was the first massage I had received and I found the massage therapist to friendly, calming and patient. I explained the areas of pain I had and also the tiredness felt from exploring the backcountry of the nearby National Park. She kept checking to make sure the pressure was okay for me and an hour later I left feeling relaxed and free from pain places where I hadn't actually realised I had felt tightness until it was absent. I had had shoulder pain for weeks but as soon as she touched my shoulder she commented on the limb stiffness and worked wonders.
