Great atmosphere, cozy quick service such amazing burgers! They literally melt in your mouth! Fries are exceptional perfect balance of crispy and soft. If you're in the area definitely a must eat!
We came in with a service dog and were told there were no seats inside but we could sit outside. However, the next couple came in and was seated inside. We complained to the owner and she left us seated outside for another 15 minutes until we walked through the restaurant to leave. At that point she caught us and gave us a table. But there were at least 5 tables open. It is against federal law to discriminate against someone that has a service dog. The staff needs to be trained! Sad- we wanted to like this place. The owner did buy our drinks at the end to try and make things right. On the plus side......the food was amazing and they had great live music.
On the way through, got this off the net, never been here. As we finished all 6 of us said it was a good call. I saw that they offer all burgers on a bowl of rice, no bun or fries for $1 off. It was a lot of rice too. What a great GF alternative and at a reduced price not additional. I will recommend this alternative in other restaurants. Since all of us liked our food an service, I highly recommend this burger joint!
Pros: Great veggie burgers, crispy fries. Live music. Games for the kids to play at your table. Lots of different burger topping options. Fun relaxing/laid back atmosphere.
The food here is seriously amazing! The fries were crispy. The bacon cheeseburger was great, not sickly or anything. Loved the fact that I could choose how I wanted it cooked! Apparently the Reuben sandwiches were lovely too, perfectly done. Service was good too. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Hilo.
Cons: Finding parking is challenging at times.
