My friend and I decided to try this place out for the first time today. Walking In We thought they were closed. Then a waitress walked up and told us the dine in is closed but it's happy hour at the bar. So we sat ourselves and overlooked the happy hour menu. Prices were good, food was delicious! But the services was really bad. The girl who brought us our menus was not personable at all, she tried going over the menu with us but ended up just saying "and yeah" with a hand motion and shoulder shrug. We ended up moving to the bar being that the sun shines right in at that hour and the bartender was even more horrible. She was only nice to the tourist. We are locals. There was another bartender who seemed like she had no clue what she was doing. But other then bad service the food was good and the place was nice.
We are locals and were excited about a new farm to table restaurant in Hilo. The first time I went there we were given lunch menus when we got seated. We had the menus for almost ten minutes then were told we missed the lunch menu by 5 minutes. We were hungry so we stayed to try the happy hour menu. Ordered a bottle of bubbly but they didn’t have the one on the menu. Food was a 6/10, Service 3/10. We decided to give them one more chance cause we were hoping breakfast would be better. Service was worse. Food about the same. I know it’s a Hilton but oj from concentrate during orange season in Hawaii? c’mon. The only thing they have going for them is that view. Will not be returning.
Some of the best artisan high quality food on the Big Island! The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and inviting, reminiscent of French Bistros and big city dining. To top everything off the staff is excellent and very pleasant. Oh, I also must mention the spectacular seasonal drink creations that come from the bar, they are nothing short of delightful, creative and absolutely refreshing!
The ambience, food and service are great! It might take a little long to get the food, but it is well worth it!
Great setting and the staff is outstanding. I recommend the calamari fingers for sure. Interesting Asian inspired menu. It is difficult to find if you are not staying in the hotel and parking is sort of a pain.
