The staff were super nice and helpful. They were willing to make modifications to the menu. And the food was delicious. Would eat here again.

My hubby and I LOVED this place. We were looking for a good place in Hilo to get some good traditional Hawaiian food and we found it here. We both got the Hawaiian laulau plates (he got chicken and I got the beef pork mix) and both loved it.
Good for a late night food option. It may not be gourmet but it tastes home cooked and has HUGE portions so if you are hungry after a long day it will fill you up no problem.
The staff was really fun to interact with. It was pretty obvious we were tourists, and they were great at offering suggestions. We also enjoyed the local feel. Lots of people knew each other and it felt like a genuinely friendly spot.
