The service is very attentive. You "raise the flag" when you need something and all of the floor employees are on the lookout.
Great service. Cool & comfortable atmosphere. Strong drinks (if the mom is working the bar haha). Very accommodating with togo orders. Reasonable prices. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant on the entire island and beyond!!!!
By far my favorite Mexican food place in Hilo!! The picture shows the #1 Carne Asada plate. So good!!!! They also made my Michelada just right!
It's not a fancy place by any means. If you're looking for that... I don't know what to tell you. If you want good food and friendly service, this could be the place.
I love Reuben's. It's been around forever, and that has to be worth something. My favorite entree is the crab enchiladas. The carne asada is go to for my kids. There are a ton of interesting tequilas, if you're into that. The chicken and cheese enchiladas are good too.
