As I said before, the community is what really makes this shop awesome. They have judges that are excited about the games and willing to teach new players. If you're interested in learning how to play, or you want to get back in to playing, drop by and get a schedule of events.
They have regular tournament events as well as casual play and entry fees are low-reasonable. Currently they do Magic: The Gathering Monday (pauper), Wednesday for casual play, and Friday for Friday Night Magic which is split between standard and draft.
I was really impressed with Toys4U when I came to Hilo. It isn't easy to find fun people to play MTG with in a low-stress environment but they provide that.
This is a great local card shop with a fantastic community and friendly owners. They have booster packs for several card games available as well as singles, sleeves, some dice, and snacks. The location isn't huge but they make the space work.
Sadly this store has closed. Mark's awesome !
