We found out on our own that our puppy was allergic to topical flea medication. Terrible vet
Said my puppy had pancreatitus and that was why he wouldn't eat. Charged $600.00. Later
My cat hurt a bird and they prescribed antibiotics and the total for that and for exam was $53. Not great but not bad, literally 5 drops of medicine. They were able to see us within 2 hours of calling and didn't wait long. Staff seemed okay. I'm not a regular client so go at your own risk for your pet.
have had decent service here in the past, ignoring the other bad reviews. now I understand what some of the others were complaining about. Waited 1hr 45 min for blood work that was told would be 15 min. then was told they actually can't check what they were supposed to be testing for. I honesty think they just wanted practice drawing blood for the students there with total disregard for my time or our cats health.
This is a busy clinic with constant turn-over of staff. Dr. Mina hires college students so he loses a lot of good people. I found Dr. Mina and Dr. Lyons to be very caring and compassionate. All 9 of our dogs go and see them. Just be patient with the staff as a lot of them are still learning their job functions.
My dog wasn't eating and drinking , and very lethargic. I called the Maka'i clinic and was told that the doctor would call me back to give me advice! No one ever called me back! Thank God for Aloha vet , as busy as they were , they managed to get my pup in the same day !
