Dr. Russo was a breath of fresh air. He actually listened with a sympathetic ear, and was open to alternatives to drugs. He took his time with us, explained clearly, and was informative but not condescending.
Excellent "bedside manner", knowledgeable, helpful, thorough, friendly with a good sense of humor. Went over history carefully and explained what he was planning to do. I saw him despite very negative reviews others have posted because someone I trusted gave him a very positive recommendation. Her recommendation proved to be good/accurate, and I'm pleased to have met Dr. Russo and to have him take my case.

For over 20 years I've had severe chronic migraines (2-3 per week) in which I was on several medications. I was referred to Dr. Russo and after a couple of visits and testing I was switched to just one medication and prescribed a CPAP machine.
We left the office reassured there was light at the end of the tunnel. We genuinely liked him and would highly recommend him!
Dr Russo helped me to getting the answer why I was not sleeping. Dr Russo also explained to me in great detail of what was going on, getting me the Meds I needed. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help.
Today, after 3 months of just the one medication and use of the CPAP I maybe will get 1 migraine per month!
Very knowledgeable and thorough. I am so happy Dr. Russo comes to the Big Island to help us here. For the last few years I was dealing with my sleep apnea and restless leg on my own and not doing well. After a few visits with Dr. Russo I am able to use my CPAP more efficiently and the medications he prescribed are helping immensely at the lowest doses. Highly recommend.
