Summary - My husband and I are buying a home near Hilo (~3600 miles away from our current home!) and I cannot recommend Howard enough! I did some research on City-Data and yelp and got the names of 2 different agents before finding Howard. I emailed both of those agents and never heard back (other than a canned auto response saying they'd be in touch). Then, I came across Howard's yelp reviews and contacted him - he responded within 30 minutes of my original email! Since then, we have visited, toured homes, etc., and are now set to close in a couple weeks.
Howard has been incredibly patient with us and has worked with our schedule and really supported the entire process so well with us being far away and not able to take care of a lot of things in person. He's also incredibly knowledgeable of the area (born and raised in HI) and is just a great guy. I would work with him for any real estate transaction I ever have in HI!
