A beautiful little cove that isn't too crowded. The water is chilly when you first dip your toes in, but if you take the plunge you'll find that it's mostly not more than 5ft deep with some geothermal vents to keep your toes warm while you wade. Saw three turtles within the span of a half hour! Some are very curious and will approach you occasionally. A magical experience. Just make sure to be respectful of their space and don't touch them!
Had the best day ever here. Swam with the turtles. The water felt fabulous & looked so beautiful!
This is a beautiful family beach. With stairs and railing going into the shallow 4 to 5ft. deep water when Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles can often be seen swimming. Lifeguard on duty daily. Free parking with two handicap parking stalls.Public restroom. Outdoor shower to rinse salt water off after swimming or snorkeling. One large pavilion with covered picnic tables and grill. Large grassy area to play Frisbee on. Great swallow ocean water inside a protected reef.
Great swimming hole and park area. Had a sea turtle come and pay me a visit while floating around. Great ocean view.
It's beautiful here! Doesn't seem to get too crowded but there is usually some people around. We saw a turtle the first day we visited!
