We did the sunrise Lava boat tour in May. Early start but well worth it! We could see the glow of lava in various spots up the mountain side and into the ocean while in the dark. Awesome seeing the lava up close. I'd recommend the sunrise tour for best viewing. We boated with a bunch of dolphins on the way back too. The boat is also nice with only 6 seats so no one gets in your way.
awesome experience and great people to deal with! Oleathia was super helpful accommodating the several changes we had before the tour. We did the sunrise one and it was worth waking up with the birds. Unforgettable experience and great staff!!!
Great time at Hilo with Paul, smart,witty, funny very educational...not so much for Kona coffee tour with Grace.. knows nothing about island around her.. she blows threw Stop sign at 20 mph..talk about scary driving..had no time to go snorkeling brochure says back by 3:30 untrue... We have to be back on the boat by 5
What a great experience and a lifetime memory. With 6 guests only, we got a great view onto the ocean entry lava. The powerfull motoryacht delivered an enjoyable ride along the stunning coast line and dolphins followed us closely. After about 40 minutes at the lava entry spot, we returned into the sunrise with again fantastic views. The crew was very knowledgeable and replied to every questionwe had. We do definitely recommend the sunrise tour and after all it is an extreme value for the amount paid. Mahalo Captain Kanoa and team.
My husband and I had the best time on the Mauna Kea Sunset Tour! The SUV was comfy and the company was friendly. Our tour guide was exceptional - upbeat and filled with information. He could tell some great jokes too
