Great rental experience. Received a 2016 Explorer with very low miles which was perfect for exploring the island. Fast pickup and return. Will definitely choose Hertz for my next rental.

My experience was not so good, staff was friendly and we get the car fast but our Nissan rough was a very old car 40 000 + and have damages around the car. The car was working but not more, and i ordernd a 4 WD but i get a AWD. This makes a big difference when you want to go on Mauna Kea. (no AWD) so please check first. I was a Herz customer many years but i had also a bad experience in SFO last year, so i will try a other company next time.
