The place is ok. There are many more cleaner locations, with beach access. Checkout the statue of the great king kamehameha and read the history !
Love it here. Great place to relax and let my dog run around. There can be a lot of sketchy looking people here at times, but overall very nice park.
This is a nice place to spend some time during the day. The gazebos large and small are starting to show their age, but everything is functioning. The park in general is beautiful, a great place for family activities. Biggest negative is that it tends to be a gathering place for vagrants, and the police don't even make an effort to disperse their numbers. Do not go at dusk or later; as with many places, the safety disappears with the sunlight.
beautiful park with free parking, public restsooms, shaded picnic pavilions for parties/events. ducks, fishing, huge grassy area. beautiful Japanese style bridges. handicap parking, wheelchair assessable with paved area to walk throughout the park.
lots of canoes, kayaking.
A real nice big public park. Many local groups get together to clean up and cut the grass only because those who are supposed to don't.
